Mastering Goalkeeper Reflexes: Dive Timing and Parrying Techniques
Published · 1 min read
Becoming an Impenetrable Wall in Goal
Scoring clutch goals is only half the battle in Penalty Shooters 2. To lift the championship trophy, you must become a formidable goalkeeper capable of stopping blistering strikes from top international forwards.
Identifying the Striker's Intent
Pay close attention to the targeting circle that flashes as the striker begins their shooting stride. Faster shots provide shorter reaction windows, requiring immediate, decisive mouse or touch positioning. Avoid second-guessing yourself once you commit to a dive angle.
Parrying vs. Catching
High-velocity shots near the posts are nearly impossible to hold cleanly. Focus on getting strong fingertips to the ball to deflect it off the post or safely over the crossbar for a corner kick.
